Evermark USA builds fiber laser cutters in four configurations matched to how the metal moves through the shop. Open-bed cutters handle high-volume flat sheet up to 12025 format. Enclosed cutters add Class-1 laser safety and dust containment for occupied shop floors. Tube and pipe cutters add a dedicated chuck and rotary axis for round, square, and structural stock. Large-format cutters handle 6020 sheet and bigger for architectural and structural fabrication.

Compare Fiber Laser Cutter Configurations
The right fiber laser cutter depends on the material you're processing, the part geometry, and your shop layout.
| Configuration | Best For | Wattage Range | Bed Sizes | Material |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Open-Bed | High-volume flat sheet, lowest cost per part | 1.5kW – 30kW | 3015 to 12025 | Flat sheet metal |
| Enclosed | Occupied shop floors, safety compliance, mixed-shift production | 3kW – 20kW | 3015 to 6020 | Flat sheet metal |
| Tube and Pipe | Round, square, structural stock | 1.5kW – 12kW | Dedicated chuck | Tube and pipe |
| Large-Format | Architectural, structural, plate fabrication | 6kW – 30kW | 6020 and up | Heavy plate, large sheet |

How Much Wattage Do You Need?
Fiber laser cutting speed and maximum thickness scale with source power. Most metal job shops land between 3kW and 12kW. Use the guide below as a starting point, then talk to Evermark for a recommendation based on your specific material mix.
Light-gauge fabrication. Cuts mild steel up to 1/2", stainless up to 1/4", aluminum up to 3/16". Best for prototype shops, signage, and short-run job work.
General-purpose production. Cuts mild steel up to 1", stainless up to 5/8", aluminum up to 1/2". The most common wattage range for US metal job shops.
High-volume production. Cuts mild steel up to 1-1/4"+, stainless up to 1", aluminum up to 3/4". Faster edge speed on thin gauge — pays back fastest on high-throughput shops.
Heavy plate and maximum speed. Cuts mild steel up to 2"+ and matches plasma productivity on thick plate while keeping laser edge quality. Architectural and structural fabrication.
Maximum thicknesses depend on assist gas, nozzle, and material grade. Evermark applications engineers can verify against your part files.
